“I am a person with a lot of energy who loves life and can say from the heart I love people. From a very young age I was fascinated with how the camera can capture time and light, and that fascination led me to becoming a qualified photographer for a daily paper.
I have more than fourteen years’ experience working as a professional photographer. I landed my first job back in 2004 taking pictures for a variety of publications under the Leicester Mercury umbrella, including More magazine, Business Monthly and Leicestershire Life magazine.
My work has been featured in national publications including the Guardian, The Times and Daily Mail. I now freelance for a variety of companies and specialise in News, Features, PR, Portraits and Food photography. I also have the privilege of working as a part time photography lecturer at the University of Derby where I teach Journalism Students how to gain the necessary photography skills needed for their future in media.
Photography is my first love but it’s not my only love. I would like to consider myself a surf chick. The sea is a passion, so any chance I get that’s where you will find me. I also like to be in the mountains with a snowboard under my feet.”
